The Department launched consultations on 10 March concerning the implementation of the transport elements of the Renewable Energy Directive and reducing the lifecycle greenhouse gas intensity of transport fuels and introducing sustainability criteria for biofuels in implementing the Fuel Quality Directive. These are presentations which informed consultation meetings held on 31 March and 4 April 2011.
