High Speed Rail: Investing in Britain’s Future – Consultation

The consultation opened on 28 February 2011. The deadline for responses to consultation passed on 29 July 2011. All the responses received are being analysed by an independent company, who will produce a report summarising responses which will be published.

The Secretary of State for Transport will announce the outcome of this consultation process and the Government’s final decisions on its strategy for high speed rail before the end of 2011.

Details of the outcome of the consultation will be made available on this site when it is announced.
