Biography of Grant Shapps
Grant Shapps was appointed Minister of State for the Department of Communities and Local Government in May 2010 as part of the coalition government. He is MP for Welwyn Hatfield.
Grant was born and educated in Hertfordshire, attending Watford Grammar School. He studied Business in Manchester and founded a printing company business.
In June 2010, Grant was appointed to the Privy Council.
