I've had two kids that have had swine flu, and it's nothing to panic about. It's no worse than a normal heavy cold/flu, and both recovered in a few days. Tamiflu was prescribed, but two tablets in we took them off it as it made them violently sick, and I wouldn't take it myself having seen the side effects. All my kids needed was calpol/calprofen to get them through the worst of it. My wife and I both had symptoms but they never got past the stage where we just felt a bit off colour. There's way too much fuss been made about this illness, for the vast majority of people it's just flu.
