Food Standards Agency in Scotland was launched on 3 April 2000. Our commitment is to improve food safety and standards in Scotland and protect the health of Scotland's population in relation to food.
The officials who will carry out the Agency's work in Scotland comprise the Director Scotland (Professor Charles Milne) and some 70 members of staff with a wide range of skills and expertise.
