How do we use your personal data?
Website Users: Usage logs are used to monitor
use of the JNCC website to help inform its future development, and
are used only in an anonymous form; no individual is identified.
Where your name / organisation details are requested (when using
the data download facilities) this is held only to notify you of
any major issues with the data downloaded.
Whenever and wherever we collect, process or use personal data,
we take steps to ensure that it is treated securely and in
accordance with our privacy policy.
Data Providers: We use your personal details to
maintain a contact to the owner of the data should any issues or
queries arise with regard to the data at a later date. In addition
your name may be associated with any records when these are
disseminated either through the JNCC website or other publication
routes.

Except as set out above, we will not disclose your personal
information unless we are obliged to do so or allowed to do so by
law. In particular we will not sell, distribute or lend your
personal information to third parties, unless we have your
permission or are required to do so by law.
