PROGRAMME
"Over the last decade the threat to national security and prosperity from cyber attack has increased exponentially. Over the decades ahead this trend is likely to continue to increase in scale and sophistication, with enormous implications for the nature of modern conflict. We need to be prepared as a country to meet this growing challenge, building on the advanced capabilities we already have."
David Cameron & Nick Clegg,
Foreword, Securing Britain in an Age of Uncertainty: the Strategic Defence & Security Review, October 2010
Nick Clegg and David Cameron
The Government's flagship IA events are the annual focus for the national Information Assurance calendar. IA11 will have greater impetus, providing the Minister of State for Security & Counter Terrorism with a platform to introduce the Government's emerging National Cyber Security Strategy, which incorporates the National IA Strategy. IA11 will provide the leadership forum to debate the drivers behind this strategy and the priorities in its implementation.

Keynote Speakers

IA11 gives you the opportunity to hear directly from keynote speakers in the field of Information Assurance from both government and industry.

Stream Programme

IA11 is being structured around four streams that will encourage engagement and debate:

Stream One

Agenda

The IA11 agenda (pdf) is developing rapidly, so check regularly to ensure that you have the latest information.

IA11 Workshops

To allow you to achieve a deeper understanding of key issues, exchange ideas and hatch effective actions plans for the future, a strong workshop programme is being offered at IA11.

Refreshed Event Format for IA11

Our intention is that IA11 will be attended by the most senior government audience to date. Reflecting this we have reviewed the event’s format, ensuring that it best meets the requirement of our delegates. Rather than requiring you to spend two full days out of the office, as in previous years, IA11 will begin with a networking afternoon reception and high profile Keynote Dinner on 28 June. This will be followed by a single packed day of keynote speeches, compelling case studies, stream sessions, workshops and networking.

Restricted Numbers

IA11 will allow deeper interaction and engagement between delegates and speakers. To achieve this, numbers will be strictly limited. Early registration is strongly advised.
