Determinations

Determinations made under the Water Industry Act 1991

The Water Services Regulation Authority has powers to determine disputes and appeals under certain sections of the Water Industry Act 1991.

  • s122 Appeals with respect to:
    • a sewerage company's refusal to give a trade effluent consent
    • a sewerage company's failure to give a trade effluent consent within two months of a notice of application
    • any condition that a sewerage company attaches to a trade effluent consent
  • s126 Appeals with respect to a sewerage company's variation of a trade effluent consent

Determinations made under the Guaranteed Standards Regulations

The Water Services Regulation Authority has powers to determine disputes under the Guaranteed Standards Regulations about a customer's right to payment or credit under the Guaranteed Standards Scheme (GSS).
