Guidance for PCT Clusters

Guidance for PCT Clusters to help ensure they deliver their twin objectives of overseeing and accounting for delivery during transition and supporting the development of the new system has been published by the Department of Health.

‘Shared Operating Model for PCT Clusters’ aims to create a stronger management system for transition and more consistency in how the temporary clusters do business, paving the way for a single national approach from 2013.

It sets out where there are processes or functions that all PCT Clusters will need to perform and where it is important that there is consistency between them.
