Young Games Maker programme announced
More than 2,000 16-18 year olds will have the opportunity to be Young Games Makers, volunteering in a number of different roles during the 2012 Games. Shortlisted Games Maker applicants have been attending selection events since February and we’ve been really impressed with the levels of enthusiasm and commitment of potential volunteers so far. Don’t worry if you haven’t heard from us yet – we need to interview a staggering 100,000 people, and that takes time. We’ll be interviewing right through until early 2012, so please be patient – we’ll give you at least a month’s notice if we’d like you to attend a selection event.
