Markets and Collaborative Procurement
Our team works with Central Government and the wider public sector to improve access to better deals for the whole of the public sector by working with and through Professional Buying Organisations (PBOs). This activity includes sharing information and best practice frameworks through groups such as the Regional Improvement & Efficiency Partnerships. We strive to improve the quality of information available on procurement spend from the public sector to ensure the implementation of common standards and greater transparency. We also provide best practice guidance on the procurement of various categories of spend, as well eProcurement tools, such as the Contracts Database and eAuctions.
