Rules change on 1 January 2012
Pet travel rules will change on 1 January 2012 when the UK brings its procedures into line with the European Union.

Travelling to the UK from any other country (an Unlisted country)?:
- Quarantine – For cats, dogs and other rabies susceptible animals that do not qualify for entry into the UK under the Pet Travel Scheme.
Taking your pet abroad?
- Contact AHVLA’s International Trade Centre for Exports for details of the licensing requirements of the country or territory you are going to.
