Public Sector Flex is an IT shared service supplied by Fujitsu under a contract awarded by the Cabinet Office following competitive procurement in May 2007. Flex combines standard, low cost, sustainable desktop provision with a comprehensive range of additional services to meet the full ICT requirements of a customer organisation.
The Flex Framework Executive Board is responsible for ensuring a successful partnership of the Cabinet Office, other customers and the service provider which is capable of adapting to the changing scale of the programme as new customers and services are incorporated under the Flex Framework. Attendees come from the Cabinet Office and its advisers; Fujitsu UK&I, the service suppliers, and the public sector organisations that have contracted with Fujitsu to receive services under the Flex Framework. In view of the public interest in the Flex programme, the Cabinet Office is publishing the minutes of Flex Framework Executive Board.
