About the Diploma
The Diploma is a new qualification for 14- to 19-year-olds in England. It offers a blend of theoretical and applied learning.
A Diploma programme of study balances sector-related learning with life skills and project work, as well as covering functional skills in mathematics, English and ICT. Students follow a coherent programme of study, while having the flexibility to pursue their personal goals.
We are providing support and advice to schools and colleges with students currently studying for a Diploma.
If you're a curriculum planner or from an exams office, you'll find this section helpful. We've put together a range of guidance on administering the Diploma and using the Diploma aggregation service.
Some resources relating to the Diploma curriculum and assessment have been removed from this section in line with our remit from the Department for Education.
However, if you're a teacher or an assessor, you can still find these resources in the UK Government's National Archive.
