Access arrangements

This training section shows examples of the planned access arrangements that can be provided to pupils with specific needs during a test, including: 

  • using a reader, amanuensis, transcriber or prompter
  • using a translator
  • using a word processor
  • administering additional time
  • taking a test at home. 

How to use this training section

The video below should be used to show administrators how to correctly administer access arrangements to pupils during the tests.

Schools are also encouraged to download the Access arrangements presentation to use as an additional training resource, or if they're unable to view the video file.
