Mozilla Technologies
The Mozilla community creates a variety of different technologies that are freely available for other people and organizations to use in their own products.

GeckoGecko is the layout engine that reads web content, such as HTML, CSS, XUL, and JavaScript and renders it on a user's screen. In XUL-based applications Gecko is used to render the application's user interface as well.

XULRunnerXULRunner provides an environment for developers to build XUL-based applications such as Firefox and Thunderbird. It provides mechanisms for installing, upgrading, and uninstalling applications.

Archived Projects
Mozilla has been creating software since the community began in 1998, although some of those projects are no longer being worked on.

MinimoMinimo was an early effort to build a browser for mobile devices. Development stopped on the project in 2007 and soon after the Firefox for Mobile project was started.

Mozilla SuiteThe Mozilla Suite included the set of applications that were released at the beginning of the Mozilla project. In 2006 development stopped after Mozilla changed focus to the Firefox and Thunderbird projects.
