Invitations to tender

The Information Commissioner receives an annual grant-in-aid from the Ministry of Justice to fund the costs of his office in undertaking his statutory duties in respect of freedom of information. Data protection statutory duties are funded from the annual notification fees collected from data controllers.

Our data protection functions are funded by the notification fee and we monitor the fee income each month:
