QCDA is closing as part of the Government's education reforms. We're updating our website to reflect our reducing remit until the site closes in autumn 2011. You can find removed content in the National Archives web archive.

NCA tools info

NCA tools is a website for all national curriculum test administrative activities.

Through the NCA tools website schools can:

  • order test papers
  • register pupils for tests
  • apply for access arrangements, special consideration and timetable variations
  • submit teacher assessments
  • view pupils' test results.

Help with the NCA tools website

Our Guide to using the NCA tools website has information on how to access the site, how to log on, and what to do if you've forgotten your password. You can also find out how to manage your profile and add user accounts.

All passwords from the 2010 test cycle have been reset and you will need to create a new password the first time you log in. Web-based email addresses (such as Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo) cannot be used to access the NCA tools website.

If you have previously registered a web-based email address you will be prompted to submit a valid school or local authority email address when you log in for the first time.

We also have video tutorials available to help you troubleshoot any problems logging in.

For security reasons, all users will need to accept the terms and conditions of use before being granted access to the NCA tools website.
