The wider economy also thrives as competitive markets encourage greater productivity, growth and innovation by business.

Applicants must be fully qualified lawyers:

– Qualified to practise as a solicitor or barrister in England and Wales. (We would accept applications from individuals who are not qualified to practise in England and Wales, on condition that they are prepared to pursue the QLTT on appointment.)

Experience

To be successful in the role of Competition Lawyer, you will have recent demonstrable experience of applying competition law and researching competition law issues, or you will be an exceptional lawyer with experience in other legal disciplines, with an interest in developing expertise in competition law and can amply demonstrate legal skills and experience that are transferable to competition work in the OFT.
