Brief Description
To provide a premier customer service during all periods of Café operation and act as lead team member for catering assistant staff.
Vacancy description
Support a team of front of house catering assistants in all aspects of customer care, cash till operation and promotion of the cafe's good food policy and menu items
Responsible for all cash handling and cashing up the till on roistered duty days
Assist the Catering Supervisor in counter layout design and staffing organisation to ensure that customer service is as efficient and enjoyable as possible
Assist the Catering Supervisor/Recreation Manager in ensuring that all facilities and work activities adhere to appropriate Risk Assessments and Health and Safety procedures
Assist with all food preparation and cleaning duties as necessary
Support duty catering staff so that their interactions with the public present Forestry Commission Wales in the best possible manner through good customer care and service provision

Able to hold a simple conversation in Welsh with customers on an informal basis

Food handling qualification or willingness to attain
