Challenging the stereotype

This teaching resource uses a selection of images to provide an opportunity for discussion around the stereotypical perception of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people, which is often very negative. The individuals and images within the slides give an insight into some of the successful, hardworking and conscientious members of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities. They range from international musicians to learning mentors, soldiers and professional athletes. Some suggested activities are included.
