Resources to help primary schools develop children's social, emotional and behavioural skills, targeted at schools who have identified the social and emotional aspects of learning as a key focus. Topics include assemblies and follow-up ideas for work in class. The publications are presented in a wide range of languages.
Seven whole-school theme-based interactive and illustrated assemblies which are part of the Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) resources.
Introduction to projects in nine Local Authorities looking at SEAL in early years settings and primary schools. Includes handbooks, guides, questionnaires, planning grids and other resources. Newcastle resources address visual impairment. Others are more general but some target particular year groups. The projects are from Northumberland, Devon (Ilfracombe), Kirklees, Telford and Wrekin, Barnsley, Newcastle, Manchester, Somerset and Merton (South London). They include red set (Foundation), blue set (Years 1 and 2), yellow set (Years 3 and 4) and green set (Years 5 and 6) curriculum materials.
