An area designed for senior leaders and teachers in primary and secondary schools and settings. It offers a dynamic range of resources and approaches to help close gaps by overcoming barriers to unlock the potential of pupils entitled to free school meals.
This programme consists of six elements. Each Element has been written to support the science department in addressing particular development needs. It is particularly important that these are carefully selected, tailored and mediated to support the improvement work identified in the school's Raising Attainment Plan.

This collaborative national research project explored the issues associated with developing assessment for learning whole school. The research focussed on effective classroom practice and on leadership and management. The summary report identifies 13 key messages for schools.
