Teaching Speaking and Listening is designed to help you improve your teaching of speaking and listening so that your pupils develop into confident and skilful speakers and listeners.
It contains targeted units for self- and collaborative-study, with activities and video clips showing effective approaches to teaching speaking and listening in the English classroom from Year 7 to Year 11. Some of the materials and video clips have been designed to be used with pupils to provide them with models of effective speaking and listening.
These materials have been adapted for use by English subject leaders, English teachers and teaching assistants.
