  • Cegnet: This is a website for professionals working in careers education, information, advice and guidance.
  • Connexions Direct: From April 2011 Connexions Direct became part of Directgov to bring together wider online information and support for young people, including careers, work and learning. A career profile service can also be found on the Directgov website, this new service is called - Next Step.
  • 16 to 19 Bursary Scheme: From September 2011 a new bursary scheme will help the most vulnerable 16- to 19-year-olds continue in full-time education or training. Funding of £180m is available for bursaries, which will be awarded at the discretion of schools, colleges and training providers.

  • STEM choices: A science, technology, engineering and mathematics resource pack for teachers and Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) practitioners.
  • NHS curriculum resources: The NHS developed lesson activities designed to help 14- to 19-year-old learners to consider a potential career with the NHS. Life talking: Learners take a short quiz to encourage them to think about their suitability to certain jobs. 
  • Employ me - it's a jungle out there: Learners consider the personal, learning and thinking skills they will need to find their dream job.
