Gifted and Talented Quality Standards

The Gifted and Talented Quality Standards are designed to support LAs and schools in evaluating and deciding next steps to improve their provision for gifted and talented learners.

There are three sets of quality standards:

  1. classroom – which focus on teaching and learning strategies within classrooms and other settings
  2. institutional – which are to be used at a whole-school or college level
  3. local authority – which are to be used by LAs within a local area.

The standards include resources such as e-learning modules and self-evaluation tools.
