This guidance contains three stories based on the theme of change for use in an assembly. In the assembly the children are asked to imagine that they are one of the boys or girls in each story and think about how they might feel if those changes happened to them. It comes under the ‘Changes’ theme within primary social and emotional aspects of learning (SEAL).

- a follow-up assembly tailored to children’s year group.
