Assessment commentary

This well organised response compares several aspects of the two detective novel openings: the workplaces of the two detectives, the historical periods of the settings and selected features of the language and narrative style employed. The commentary addresses most of the level 6 criteria for AFs 5 and 7 and there is further evidence of the level 6 criteria for AFs 2 and 3 being met.
