Friends of The National Archives care about the future of the nation's records. Join us and play a part in safeguarding our documentary heritage.
Donations from Friends help The National Archives with its vital work. Friends also carry out voluntary projects to make the records more accessible to all.

Becoming a Friend costs just £15 a year (£12 concession). In return you will receive:
- an invitation to a behind-the-scenes tour of The National Archives
- 20% discount on purchases at The National Archives' shop in Kew and the online bookshop
- 20% discount on charges for events run by The National Archives, including conferences
- special Friends-only events, including behind-the-scenes tours and visits to historic buildings and collections
