How can I find out more about Home Access?

The Home Access programme, which helped provide low-income families with access to a computer and the internet, has closed and no further grants will be issued.

The programme operated within a limited budget and timeframe with grants awarded on a first come, first served basis. Since January 2010 the Home Access programme helped more than 270,000 low-income families get access to a computer and the internet to improve learning.

If you received a computer package through the Home Access programme and have any issues or need technical support, please contact your supplier. A list of suppliers and their contact details is available from the right of this page.

If your 12 months internet subscription has run out and you wish to pay for further internet access you can do so either by contacting your existing internet service provider (ISP) to renew your subscription, or taking on a new subscription with another internet service provider.
