The Government has set out the need for greater transparency across its operations to enable the public to hold public bodies and politicians to account. This includes commitment relating to public expenditure, intended to help achieve better value for money.
As part of the transparency agenda, the Department for Education is publishing all new information and communications technology (ICT) contracts over the value of £10,000 let by the Department since July 2010.
When calling-off from an existing framework agreement for ICT and no formal exchange of contracts takes place, we will publish the purchase order and the relevant terms and conditions that apply.
