Geometry and measures

There are four units for geometry and measures, which cover key learning objectives in the 'Geometry and measures' strand and provide a yearly teaching programme to help Year 7 mathematics pupils attain level 4 as quickly as possible.

The units are designed to be used across the academic year, and the work can be spread evenly across the terms.

Each unit has a set of key themes, with unit 1 covering work on mensuration, and solving problems and investigating in shape, space and measures, units 2 and 3 focusing on geometrical reasoning and unit 4 covering work on transformations of 2-D shapes.
