Further support

Find out how to make the most of available ICT resources, and how to find additional materials to support your teaching of English using ICT.

Availability of resources

  • Be clear about the ICT resources available in the department or the school. There may be a list of available resources you can borrow or access.
  • If ICT usage requires moving out of the English classroom, make sure you have communicated with ICT staff, have access to the ICT suite, or library or independent learning centre timetables, or ICT booking forms.
  • Check what resources are directly available via the school’s intranet.
  • Familiarise yourself with which ICT resources are directly available within the classroom and investigate whether installing external software or hardware will work.
