Business Link is government's online resource for businesses.

It contains essential information, support and services for you and your business – whether you work for a large organisation or are on your way to starting up.

Simple to use, up to date and practical, Business Link is the first place to go to find guidance on regulations and to access government services. It also has a number of useful online tools, calculators, and best practice case studies; and provides access to funding options, as well as wider support.

The Government has recently reviewed how it delivers business improvement and support services and a series of changes have been announced. As part of these changes, the closure of the regional Business Link advisory service by November 2011 has been confirmed. Read more about changes to the service

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has launched a monthly newsletter about new and improved services government is developing to support business people. Read the Business Improvement@BIS newsletter online.

Our January 2011 survey of site visitors revealed that 89% of respondents are likely to use this site again and 79% are likely to recommend it (based on 1099 site visitors).

This site is a FANTASTIC resource for small businesses and is even more needed now that times are hard.
