Summary
The DfT commissioned AEA, in collaboration with QinetiQ, to produce a report on international aviation and maritime emissions including an analysis of current and future levels of emissions, and of proposals that have been put forward to manage them. The main objective of this study is to inform the UK’s position on setting emissions reduction targets for the two sectors. This report presents a summary of analysis and it does not present particular government proposals or selected options.
