Chief-Executive (also Secretary and Accounting
Officer for the CC)
Inquiry Directors
Inquiry Directors co-ordinate all the CC's work for
particular investigations, involving professional and support
staff
across the CC and working with the Chair and members of the
inquiry group.
Financial and Business Advisers
Business Advisers provide insight into the companies
and markets referred to the CC from a financial, commercial, strategic
and technical perspective. Business advisers have a particular
responsibility for the design and implementation of remedies
to where inquiries
reach an adverse finding.
Economists
The Economists provide advice and analysis to the
members of the CC on the operation of markets and competition
within them.
Legal Advisers
The Legal team conducts legal analysis and provides
legal advice in connection with investigations, the implementation
of remedies, litigation and the wider policy work of the CC.
Director of Corporate Services
Corporate Services covers the CC's support departments,
including Human Resources, Facilities, Finance and Information
Technology.
Director of Policy
Responsible for the analysis of competition law and policy matters to help influence decision-makers and communicate the CC’s position to external stakeholders.
