WorldSkills London 2011 will be held over four
days at the ExCeL London exhibition and conference centre in
London's docklands from 5-8 October 2011.
We are expecting more than 150,000 visitors from across the UK
to come and be inspired by watching 1,000 Competitors from over 53
countries/regions competing in 45 skill areas.
In addition to four exciting days of competition, you'll be able
to Have a Go at a wide range of skills yourself. Experts will also
be on hand to share their knowledge and careers advice.

Tickets are going fast!
Our allocated group visiting slots are running out fast, so make
sure you book your group before 15 July to ensure
you receive your complimentary tickets to this year's most
inspiring day out.
There are two types of registration: Individual Registration and
Group Registration.
Although there is no charge for attending the event, we need all
visitors to confirm their attendance by registering in advance.



Is it aimed at me?
We're welcoming people of all ages to come and see the
competition unfold in October. The event will be a great chance for
young people from 11-19 to try out new skills and find out
about career opportunities.

* On Wednesday 5 October, group registrations between 10.30
- 13.00 are limited to Junior WorldSkills London 2011 which is
exclusively for year groups 4, 5 and 6 (ages 8-10).

School and sixth form bursaries
Bursaries are now available for schools and sixth
form groups.Register before the 15 July to qualify for your
bursary.All visitors (students/teachers/non-teaching
staff/accompanying adults) attending as part of a school or sixth
form college group will get a bursary of £1 per visitor which will
apply to visitors from across the United Kingdom.All school groups
that have 45 or more visitors will receive an additional £1 per
visitor, so that's £2 per visitor.Terms and Conditions
apply:Bursaries are payable to UK school groups and sixth forms
(this includes students, teachers, non-teaching staff and other
accompanying adults) only.−
Bursaries will be paid after WorldSkills London 2011 (no
later than 30 November 2011) and will be based on the actual number
of visitors attending on the day of the visit as part of a booked

made by BACS [only] to a nominated bank account, details for which
will be requested by WorldSkills London 2011.−
