In the sports sector, Avesco, which has 600 employees, is a leading provider of giant video screens, production equipment and broadcast facilities for the live sporting event market worldwide.

Based in West Sussex, Avesco Group is a leading international media service business, with operations in Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. Established in 1984, it provides services to the corporate presentation, entertainment and broadcast markets by bringing together audiovisual, staging and production expertise and studio facilities for household-name clients.

In the sports sector, the company, which has 600 employees, is a leading provider of giant video screens, production equipment and broadcast facilities for the live sporting event market worldwide.

Avesco Group has a long and close relationship with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), which the company feels has made a big contribution to its success overseas. “We have been involved with UKTI for about eight years,” says business development director Dave Crump, “and I am personally a great believer in their activities. We have been on a number of UKTI trade missions, including two to Vancouver and one to Athens, were part of the UK pavilion at the QSI sports conference in Qatar and also attended Sport Accord 2008.
