Export Marketing Research Scheme

UKTI’s Export Marketing Research Scheme (EMRS) helps you to carry out export marketing research on all the major aspects of any export venture

How can EMRS Help Me?

Successful exporters consider their entry into new markets with care. UKTI’s Export Marketing Research Scheme (EMRS) helps you to carry out export marketing research on topics such as:

  • Market size and segmentation

  • Regulations and legislation

  • Customer needs, usage and attitudes

  • Distribution channels

  • Trends

  • Competitor activity, strategy and performance

Companies with fewer than 250 employees may be eligible for a grant of up to 50 percent of the agreed cost of market research projects. This is a subsidised service which the British Chambers of Commerce administers on behalf of UKTI.

How Can I Find Out More?

Your local International Trade Advisor can advise on your company’s suitability for EMRS and any other support you may be eligible for.
