MI5 is recruiting exceptional Enterprise Infrastructure Architects experienced in establishing and defining technology/infrastructure standards within a managed service or outsourced model.
Vacancy description
As an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect you will work within the Enterprise Architecture team, creating key artefacts using a variety of different sources and tools. With demonstrable experience in the design of enterprise-class technology/infrastructure architecture standards, you will own and promote the use of Enterprise standards systems in areas such as Backup, Storage, Virtualisation, Networks, Application Hosting, Databases etc, you will own and promote the use of Enterprise strategies throughout other areas of the organisation.
Skills
You will be adept at establishing and managing relationships to understand dependencies and constraints while maximising architectural component or service re-use. You will have demonstrated the ability to deliver architecture roadmaps using industry frameworks such as TOGAF that provide a multi-year business capability and architecture design. You will be able to specify the delivery of technology/infrastructure capability at a service contract or specification level and assure the subsequent designs.
A confident communicator passionate about delivering business value, you will work with project teams, contracted delivery partners and other Enterprise Architects to deliver solutions that remain aligned to EA strategies and the wider business, technical and delivery standards.
