Brief Description
To provide business assurance, project and programme management and planning leadership and procurement support across the organisation.
To work closely with project managers and the senior management team to ensure that there are clear project plans in place at project and organisational level.
To ensure that our annual business plans are well thought out, developed and implemented on a timely basis, and that our performance framework effectively monitors our delivery on the plan.
To provide specific business support and to work on ad-hoc projects on behalf of the Director of Corporate Services and Deputy Children’s Commissiner/Chief Executive as required.

Qualifications
Educated to Degree level.
Project management training.
Experience
Considerable experience of strategic programme or project planning and management.
Experience of interpreting and reporting on a range of policy and management information to meet the needs of a variety of audiences.
Experience of understanding complex organisational needs, unpacking them with others and translating and communicating them.
Experience of working in a politically sensitive environment.
Experience of best practice in procurement management and contract management.
Experience of developing project budgets and budget management.
Expertise in project, planning and strategic management methodologies.
