Brief Description

MI5 safeguards the United Kingdom against threats to national security. Enhancing our IT services is critical in ensuring the business builds the capabilities it needs for the future. We are looking for talented Business Analysts to evaluate business challenges and requirements in order to assist in identifying optimum solutions that deliver capabilities to our frontline businesses.

As an experienced Business Analyst, you will work within a multidisciplinary solutioning team. Expected to demonstrate all-round business analysis expertise, you will have a proven track-record in the successful analysis of business requirements, benefits and processes in support of IT and business change programmes.
 

Vacancy description

A true manager of requirements, you will be adept at managing change control within requirements and more importantly traceability both upstream to business benefits and downstream into the solution design.

With experience of modelling and analysing business processes, you will be comfortable elaborating and refining complex information, working alongside solution architects to develop solution outlines. You will be able to identify opportunities to re-use and exploit business components, your work will be consistent with Enterprise Architecture principles.

 

This is a fixed term contract for a period of three years.

A confident communicator, you will build successful relationships with stakeholders and partners, articulating solutions, managing expectations and translating business objectives to technical teams.

Resilient with superb client relationship skills, you will be self motivated and passionate about delivering business value through the innovative application of technology.
