Brief Description

To ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through a high standard of food preparation and customer service and to work with other members of the team to provide a continually improving customer service environment.


Vacancy description

Ensure that interactions with the public present Forestry Commission Wales in the best possible manner through good customer care and service provision

Prepare food and drink to a high quality standard ensuring that all food safety guidelines are adhered to

Act in a responsible way with regards to cash till operation. Ensure correct transactions and inform supervisor / duty cook of any errors

Help ensure that the kitchen area, eating area and main area is clean throughout the day and follow cleaning procedure at the end of the day

Welsh Language Skills


You will be able to hold a simple conversation in Welsh with customers on an informal basis


Professional & Technical Expertise


Current food handling qualification or willingness to acquire


NVQ level 1 or equivalent in Catering




Relevant experience working in a commercial café or restaurant environment


Specific experience of food preparation and electronic cash till operation
