Valuing People Now team

The Valuing People Now team are responsible for making Valuing People Now happen across the country.

The team is split into 2 parts:

  1. the Office of the National Director
  2. the Regional Valuing People Now Programme Leads.

The Office of the National Director

VPN Team

The two National Directors lead a team of people called Valuing People National Programme Leads who are responsible for all the national Valuing People Now workstrands.  These are health, housing, employment, family carers, personalisation, workforce, advocacy and ethnicity.

Other work done in the Office of the National Director includes publication, communications, and business planning. As Valuing People Now is a cross -government strategy, the team works closely with other government departments to deliver Valuing People Now.

The Regional Valuing People Now Programme Leads

Regional teamThe Regional Leads are based in the 9 regional government offices.  Their job is to work with the regional learning disability programme boards and others to help make Valuing People Now happen locally and regionally.
