South West Regional Valuing People Now Programme Lead

There are three carer co-ordinators in the South West. In brief, their role is to support families to make a difference by

  • Acting as a link between family carers of people with learning disabilities and the Valuing People Support Team, and ensuring carers are informed about recent policy developments and useful resources
  • Ensuring that there is a good information flow between the national carers forum and carers in the South West
  • Promoting the needs and rights of this group of carers within existing carer organisations

The Team is made up of the following members:

Gloucestershire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

Barbara Paul covering:
Devon, Plymouth, Torbay and Cornwall
