A Biomass Power Station located in the Port of Hull. DONG Energy have confirmed that they have decided not to proceed with the Humber Renewables Development at the Port of Hull. The reason is that DONG Energy has decided not to pursue the development of large-scale biomass generation in the UK as part of a broader strategic drive to focus on core activities such as gas-fired power plants and off-shore wind. Accordingly, they wished to emphasise that the decision has nothing to do with any site-specific or consenting considerations.
