Current Investigations Register

This section contains a listing of accidents and incidents which are currently the subject of a full investigation by the RAIB. For more information on each investigation, please click on the relevant link.

If anyone believes that they have objective and factual information that could be pertinent to an investigation that the RAIB is conducting, then they are requested to make contact with the RAIB either in writing, by e-mail or by telephone.

The RAIB produces a report on every accident and incident that has been the subject of a full investigation. The RAIB may publish a bulletin after it completes its preliminary site examination into an incident, and decides not to carry out a full investigation. However, the RAIB may feel that it is appropriate to provide information or advice relating to the incident that it has learnt from its preliminary examination. Such information or advice (or “learning points”) will be published in a bulletin to assist duty holders.

Published reports and bulletins can be found here.
