National Transport Award Win for Lancaster and Morecambe Cycling Town

Scheme of the Month - The Bourg Walk, Aylesbury

Transport for Buckinghamshire, who manage the Cycle Aylesbury cycle town project, recently celebrated the formal launch of one of the UK’s most exciting sustainable transport schemes - the Bourg Walk.

The centrepiece of the project is a stunning new 260m long, 4.6m wide pedestrian and cycle bridge over the railway which includes a 35m high mast. The new structure replaces a narrow footbridge over the railway (more…)
