Morecambe Promenade Cycle Route won in the Cycling Improvements category at the 2009 National Transport Awards that took place in London on the 22nd July.

What is your job or other main activity that involves cycling?
I am the London Cycle Network Plus (LCN+) Project Manager.
How long have you done that?

Scheme of the Month - The Bourg Walk, Aylesbury
Transport for Buckinghamshire, who manage the Cycle Aylesbury cycle town project, recently celebrated the formal launch of one of the UK’s most exciting sustainable transport schemes - the Bourg Walk.
The centrepiece of the project is a stunning new 260m long, 4.6m wide pedestrian and cycle bridge over the railway which includes a 35m high mast. The new structure replaces a narrow footbridge over the railway (more…)
