What's New from the Aircraft Registration Section
The Aircraft Registration Section is moving towards the use of email as its primary means of communication with the registered owners of aircraft. Although some documents, such as certificates, will still continue to be sent and received by normal mail other types of communications, such as applications to register aircraft, can be made by email and will be responded to by email.
Depending on your mailbox and spam filter settings you may need to ensure that emails from Aircraft Registration are not treated as spam. If you have a filter that blocks unknown addresses please ensure that you add firstname.lastname@example.org (display name RegAircraft) to your approved list of users. Emails sent from the Aircraft Registration Section will normally include a PDF attachment and the subject line will include the registration mark, aircraft type and serial number.
