Partnership in Safety: Next Steps

Partnership in Safety - The Next Steps

In 2009 the CAA presented its concerns regarding the increase in 'Safety Performance Indicator 2', the measure of high risk events to UK large public transport aircraft.  This led to the definition of the 'Significant 7' key risks and the creation of new joint Industry/CAA task forces to look at these in more detail.

The teams are now completing their work and we wanted to share the outcomes with you and engage with you in the decisions we need to make about what will make the greatest difference to safety in the future.

The 'Partnership in Safety: The Next Steps' conference was held at the Hilton Hotel, Gatwick Airport, on 7 October 2010.  Mr Charles Haddon-Cave QC gave the Keynote Address.
